How yacht charter works
From your first enquiry to stepping aboard — here's everything you need to know about renting a sailing yacht.
Before booking
Start by telling us about your trip: when you want to sail, how many people are coming, your budget, and which destinations interest you. We'll send you a selection of available yachts with photos, specs, and pricing within 24 hours.
Boat on option
Once you've chosen a yacht, we place it 'on option' — it's pre-reserved for you and no one else can book it. You'll have a couple of days to think it over, discuss with friends, and confirm without pressure.
Making your booking
Once you've confirmed, we'll prepare the charter agreement. You'll pay a 30–50% deposit to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due 30–45 days before your charter start date.
Preparing for your trip
We'll send you a detailed preparation guide including what to pack, provisioning options, route suggestions, and local tips. If you need a skipper, we'll arrange one for you.
Check-in at the marina
On arrival day (usually Saturday), you'll check in at the charter base. You'll pay local costs (transit log, cleaning fee, fuel deposit) and receive a briefing on your yacht. You'll typically set sail in the afternoon.
During your charter
We're available throughout your trip by phone, WhatsApp, or email. Need route advice? Having issues with the boat? We'll help resolve any problems directly with the charter company.
